Managed workspaces for agent-driven software and businesses
Farstax gives your coding agents a managed workspace that outlives your laptop. Keep repositories, tools and long-running work in one place. Build your software, then use configured sensors and routines to help maintain what you've shipped. You decide what they can change.

Your agents. Your repositories. You stay in control.
Coding agents can now take on work that lasts longer than the terminal session that started it. In practice, keeping the repository, provider session, background processes and review state together can become a job of its own—especially when you want to close the laptop or switch agents.
Farstax gives that work somewhere to stay.
01
Connect GitHub and the coding agents you already use.
02
Your repository, tools and working environment stay available without depending on your laptop.
03
Review progress, answer questions, check tests and approve changes from your desk or phone.
Build. Observe. Operate. Improve.
Shipping software is only the beginning. Websites and applications still need looking after: failures to investigate, content to maintain and improvements to make. The same agent workspace can help with that work after release.
Imagine a health check reports a failure while you're away. The check hasn't repaired anything. At a time you've authorised, a routine can ask your agent to review the signal, investigate in its workspace, prepare a tested change and show you the evidence.
Observe → Understand → Act → Verify → Report
Extensible sensors and configurable routines depend on your setup. Sensors do not automatically launch routines; scheduling a routine adds no permissions. A workspace stays available between runs, but its agents are not continuously executing.
A service begins failing health checks. With the right tools connected, an agent can investigate the code, run tests and prepare a fix for review.
Schedule a review of older articles. An agent can research improvements and draft updates; an editor decides what goes live.
With a connected shop or analytics tool, an agent can investigate checkout trouble and propose a fix. You decide what changes.
These examples need the relevant connections and permissions. Farstax does not supply every business integration out of the box.
From Farstax's own operations
We use that same workspace to build and operate Farstax. The agent has the repository and tools; people choose what gets released. Here's a real upgrade incident that taught us why a code change is only part of the job.

This is a documented engineering repair, not a claim that every step ran unattended. See what else we are learning in Field Notes →
Farstax grew out of how I use Agent Bridge to build Agent Bridge itself. I might start a task at my desk, check progress while walking the dog and review a pull request from the sofa.
I'm not trying to turn a phone into a development machine. The agent already has the repository and tools. I can give it direction and make the decisions that need me, wherever I happen to be.
From a micro-SaaS to a publishing site or an online shop, Stacks give your workspace agent a researched starting point for the software and workflows behind an idea. Choose the direction; the agent works with the tools and permissions you connect.
A Stack is a brief for your agent, not a ready-made business or a one-click deployment.

Same core idea. Different responsibility.
We're starting with developers who already rely heavily on coding agents and have felt the cost of keeping long-running work tied to a laptop.

No. Farstax gives supported coding agents a managed place to work; Agent Bridge is the runtime underneath.
No. Your Farstax workspace runs independently of your laptop.
No. Farstax is built for delegation with clear authority boundaries. You set goals, review evidence and retain control over consequential decisions.
Yes. Agent Bridge OSS is the open-source self-hosted option. Farstax is for people who want the managed experience.
Farstax provisions a dedicated DigitalOcean virtual machine per customer, with a systemd-nspawn workspace boundary. An authorised agent can still make changes within the permissions it has.
You connect GitHub through the GitHub App and select a working repository. GitHub App installation permissions determine which repositories the user token can reach; the chosen repository is its default working context, not a security boundary. Your agent can work with other repositories permitted by your GitHub account and the Farstax GitHub App installation. Use GitHub branch protection for merge safety.
Some autonomous jobs have a configured limit on how many steps the agent can take, but not every task uses that limit. Farstax cannot guarantee a spending cap. Set usage limits with your AI provider where available.
You can cancel work in progress. That stops the current agent run, but it does not automatically undo completed file changes, code pushes or services already started. Use your normal review, revert or rollback process for completed changes.
Your repositories remain under your GitHub control and Agent Bridge OSS is available for self-hosting. Workspace destruction removes provisioned infrastructure after provider confirmation; some account, operational and backup data have separate lifecycles. Read our privacy and security information for details.
Farstax is in private beta. We're starting with a small group of heavy coding-agent users so we can learn from real workflows before opening access more broadly.
Use the coding agents you know without managing another server. Build software, keep an eye on what you run and remain the person who decides what ships.
